Under the supervision of the President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, a symposium was conducted entitled “Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever” on Sunday, May 29, 2022. The symposium concentrated on certain topics which were elucidated by distinct competent presenters. Firstly, “the History of the Disease and Prevention Plans” was presented by Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz. Secondly, “Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Is Prevented, but It Does Not End” was conducted by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Zakho, Dr. Nawfal R. Hissen. Thirdly, “Government Instructions Regarding the Disease Prevention” was delivered by the Director of Veterinary of Zakho, Dr. Hissen A. Ghazal. Lastly, “The Health Sector Instructions Regarding the Disease Prevention” was presented by the Director of Zakho Health, Dr. Shakir A. Jamal.

At the end of the symposium, a discussion session emerged concerning certain vital matters related to the aforementioned illness.
